I recently noticed a reduction in the speed that i can load web pages. Checking the STATUS of my connection i noticed that the number of packets sent was the same if not slightly higher than the number received. This strikes me as a bit odd :eh: .
I have several spyware removal programmes installed and upto date and run AVG antivirus regularly so i dont think that its a malicious programme causing the problem. I am running WIN XP SP2, could it be a problem with IE?

Err.. First of all, what kind of Internet connection do you have??

    ADSL? SDSL? Cable? Dial-up?

And are you using any P2P software like ShareAza, Bittorrent, etc?

Hmm... I see. How many bytes were uploaded and downloaded over time?

Can you check your Internet connection properties and show us the number of bytes uploaded and downloaded as well as the duration? Just post the screenshot of the property screen.
