I should have added more beans. There was a lot of bacon left over.
What kind of beans are those? So white... never seen them before.
AKA, as lima or butter beans.

Hmm.. Can't say I've tried these. They taste like baked beans?
I suppose they would if they were prepared and canned that way. They are kind of plain tasting alone, but they are real large and have a creamy texture that makes them taste fantastic with just butter and salt. Are you sure you can't get them there?
Well, I haven't seen this type of beans over here.
Do they make you go toot though?
You know.. Beans, beans, the musical fruit. The more you eat, the more you toot!
Well if you cook them long and slow that really brings down the tootness factor. But if you under cook them and then have something sweet for dessert... OMG
There was one episode in Simpsons I watched many many years ago about Bart singing that phrase in a school of religion.
Unfortunately, he was chased out from the school, and switched to another one. (I don't remember the rest of the story, but on that episode he was expelled)

I love the Chili and Spam here. If on CNY I'm having this, it'd be fun!
Can you get the Hormel brand there?
I'll check the brand in the supermarkets.
I didn't have Spam, but I do eat the generic luncheon meat sold there too. Normally we go for the nitric acid free versions.
