Very odd. It should be faster than that. I can get that with my Radeon 9100!

OK, I ran it again with different RAM & a few more MHz in the FSB and got 16510

I don't like these Benchies... Too many inconsistancies!

ur motherboard chipest makes a big difference here.

My 3Dmark 01 score increased by 1000 when I run ti4200 on my Albatron MB with Intel 845 chipset instead of my Gigabyte MB with SIS 645 chipset. That sis 645 chipset doesn't oc well and is not very good speed wise. Keen to get a new MB sometime soon.

siddiq, your MB can be to blame here or maybe the ram.

PS, 9600 pro are not big number generators in 3dmark 01. a Ti4200 usually scores more. It's common for a 9600 pro to score only 11xxx in 3Dmark 01 on a Athlon 2700. I wouldn't bother trying to compare.

I was using Athlon XP 181x12, MSI KT3 Ultra. My mobo is actually older than yours.

I rest my case! :snooty: Even OC'ing the processor, if you turn off all of the video card goodies (or NOT able to turn them on) you will get good 3D mark scores!

3DMark2001 is very CPU limited. With faster processor, your score will increase.

    Old Pixelview M440 4x. A64 3200+ @ 2.44GHz, Winbond BH-5, 405/528. I cannot raise my memory more than 528Mhz :(

His MX440 is insanely overclocked!
