Saturn with webcam

    My first ever attempt at astrophoto w/ Philips ToUcam Pro II

    Conditions were horrible for using the scope... :boohoo:

    330 frames stacked and cropped.

    More to come after clouds leave. :wall:

    Yes.... check back in a few days! :thumb:

    This was taken at prime focus (1140mm). I will magnify as the sky permits. Any clouds really screw up the seeing conditions and dictate the level of magnification. Saturn is at its closest for the year on January 27th.

    That was taken in my backyard in downtown city of 300K + people. If the rain ends tomorrow I will go to dark sky site and set up for better pics.

    PS... I got a new telescope... 14inch (356mm) diameter, 3556mm focal length (f/10) Schmidt Cassegrain. Still waiting on mount and stand to come in before I can use it. Might be as late as August before I get to use it! :wall: :wall: :wall:
