So I had a 2TB slim drive that I no longer needed due to... err... upgrades...

Weird, I thought I uploaded a pic but it didn't get through and I can't edit the OP, so...

Anyways, surprise! A Samsung inside a Seagate...:lol::lol:

So basically it's a regular drive with a USB 3.0 adapter, and approx. 9.5mm thick so will fit into most laptops (except the ones that require the slim 7mm drives).

Again, it somehow missed the last pic upload, and seems like editing is disabled? Anyways, last pic:

Ok that was weird, that last pic came out twice and I can't edit, lol.

One last thing I forgot to mention... the entire enclosure is a snap-fit type so as long as you're careful, you can reassemble the whole drive multiple times as long as you are careful. The aluminum top cover is the most delicate and can bend easily if you apply too much force when trying to pull it open.

Nice! Can we post it on Tech ARP itself?

BTW, what happened to the drive? It died?

Sure, though the formatting is kinda messy lol...

The drive itself is still perfectly fine... just replaced by something better, so is now retrenched and jobless...

LOL! Give it away! 2TB is a LOT of storage for many people. :D

Can you try editing it again? Does it limit you to just 2 attachments per post? Supposed to be 10.

Yeah, the attachment limit is 10, but it's okay. I will compile and post them on the main site.

Actually I wanted atwl77 to test to ensure the permissions are set correctly.

Okay, seems like there are now extra Edit and Delete buttons.

As well as attachments... let's see if I can get all 5 pics in here:

(edit: Looks like more than 2 attachments work, though I note that there is a significantly long pause after each upload reaches 100% before the thumbnail is updated and the next one begins. I think if you hit post before the thumbnail is generated, it skips the attachment.)

2TB is still alot, especially when my biggest drive is 2TB and smallest, 256GB.
