I am interested in knowing more about softmodding a Geforce 9600GT card to simulate a Quadro card.

What's the price to pay? More heat? Some programs not working as they should?

Where can I get information over this, as I am not sure this might be a free lunch.

    Thanks!

I came to this forum because the information I found there was not enough. Particularly on the payoffs, like temp increase and else, if any.

Temperature increase??? Why should there be a temperature increase?

This isn't overclocking. This is merely enabling some software features that NVIDIA intentionally disabled for GeForce cards.

The card runs at the same clock speed before and after the mod.

OK. Not being OC or similar is a good thing.
