I understand... Even with a tiny FOV in a telescope it is rare to get any decent length exposures without a plane, satelitte, shooting star etc... in the shot. Very to say the least. There are processing tools that will perform a "median" calculation accross exposures and eliminate it though.

For those who are interested, here's how I did it. Basic dSLR Guide: Star Trails – Stacked Multiple Images Method After calculating, its more than 2 hours worth of shot. Plan to go out on another clear night in school. Hope I don't get mugged.
