Hello everyone! We are now working on a new backend and frontend for ARP. So, if you have any suggestions or ideas on how to improve ARP, please do let us know. Thanks!
Here are my suggestions for ARP: -Please allow us to have custom member titles(But members must have at least 500 posts & 1 year in ARP.) -CS5 corner(Useful for some CS5 bashing). -Maybe a Wheels corner. -MORE contests! -Higher upload limits(Probably 10-20 kb more.) TF PS: Please don't take the second one(The one which involves CS5) seriously.
Adrian is actually refering to the main site. For forum suggestions, please post at that Problems and Suggestions thread in the Lounge section. Thanks.
ROTFL! Yeah, it's for the main site, not the forums. If you have any features you would like us to implement, NOW is the time to suggest it. Once the new design is up, it will be quite hard to implement new things, particularly if they require major changes to the database backend.
you can in separate window using Shift + click Ctrl + Click / 3rd mouse button - opens in new Tab (mozilla)
RSS feed. I think it's much more useful as compared to newsletters and makes it much easier to keep track of changes and stuff.
Forcing new windows is stupid. RSS feed would rock!!! Better URLs. The current ones are whacky IMO. Example: http://www.rojakpot.com/showarticle.aspx?artno=145&pgno=1 is good, but it just redirects to a funky one: http://www.rojakpot.com/default.aspx?location=3&var1=145&var2=1 Also, loose the iframe that makes the URL always be http://www.rojakpot.com/
IMHO I feel sites should be designed without frames/iframes. It's bad accessibility, and I feel that it doesn't give a nice overall look to the site (sites feels 'static'). I think the site would look better with style positioning and without frame-type views. But that's just my opinion though.
Keep them coming! Peaz and Falcone are not here right now so they cannot reply. But keep the suggestions coming!
Okay...... Let me think of one........ How about a picture gallery(With clickable thumbnails) at the end of every articles with accompanying pictures?
Hmm.. We are already putting thumbnails, albeit rather large ones, in all our articles. You want another page of thumbnails at the end of the article?
