I think Dolphin is still based on Webkit. Try something like Opera Mobile. Excellent browser, on mobile phone version anyway.
using opera now... even worse doesn't recognize this as tablet. Recognize it as mobile. Cannot set it to norm browser.cannot post... Haih ...
It's in the settings. Opera browser is one of the best on Android IMO. Very fast rendering on image heavy websites.
Thinking of the Asus Transformer series, and it looks pretty the same to the Acer Iconia. Checked the reviews, both of them looked pretty good. Anyone tried those before?
Asus Transformer is a good choice. It doesn't have any stupid UI, just pure Android 3.1/3.2. And it has the keyboard docking which you might find it useful. I would definitely consider this if I'm buying a tablet.
Me and my brother are eyeing on that. If I really purchase, it's the tablet, and later would be the keyboard. The features inside look very, very tempting!
Yeah, I think weight is quite important if you handhold it often. The keyboard dock on the Asus is a much better design IMO. You can close it like a laptop, has additional battery, USB ports, card reader etc. If you are planning to get the keyboard dock, definitely consider the Asus. If not, Samsung as standalone is a better choice.
I just bought it. I'm still trying to navigate around the thing as it's a tablet, and despite it's an Android 3.1 something, I still have to get used to the interface. The keyboard is detachable. When it's docked, it tricks my eyes, thinking that it's another EEE-PC. But hey, that's with an Android, and it works all good. The thing is expensive, but I believe that it worth every cent.
Wifi only. I didn't planned to use it with 3G. Btw, a silly question - would a stylus works there? I'm pretty curious...
