Really? Then why they never state in their website. It's as if they don't care about us 384 package users.

And their stupid site for users to upgrade their streamyx package, cannot work. So lazy to go Telekom. :shifty:

    Haiya... thread diggers... :p

Anyways. the 1Mbps connection is true. the only problem is that the stupid international pipe is so congested, it's worse then the federal highway during peak hours. :wall:

Not like it matters when they block all P2P connections outside Malaysia.

Try searching on google for "broadband speed test".
Avoid using TMNet's speedometer test, I think they falsify results.

Ya, now I am using the local LYN DC++ hub to share data. Reminds me of the good old day of Napster and Audio Galaxy.

Did you actually check the age of the news?

Did you just applied for the 512k package recently?

That depends on where you are downloading from and uploading to.

As they have mentioned earlier, TMNet's blocking P2P traffic, particularly to peers outside Malaysia. So, you will get VERY slow downloads from them.

But if you don't do any P2P downloads.. and merely browse the web, well, don't worry about the upload/download speeds. 512kbps is fast enough.
