I use a USB external hard drive Western Digital WD Elements. it was O.K., during one session it suddenly stopped working. i connected it to an other computer, there it's recognized but isn't seen in file manager. the icon in control panel exists and the properties say it works good but still i can't use it.
Have you checked the disk management to see if the hard disk is detected? Sent from my E5803 using Tapatalk
It is detected in disk management but the information there is wrong, i think the USB disk has 1T capacity and is nearly full but in disk manager it says all 689G are unallocated. Maybe there is a problem with the USB interface part of the disk since i see in properties that it has two sections: the USB part and the storage part
