No, I mean I was just being polite to offer that card back to you. But really, I don't want to part with it.
he doesn't want a 9500 he wants a 9500np with L-shape mem configuration No more LOoooooooooooooo...that model is a dino already.....
I want a moddable 9500 with L-shaped memory with no checkedboard effect! If not I have to spend more money...
It's already more than a month since I sent back my faulty card. This is extremely normal in Malaysia, RMA can take upto 2 months or even more! But this is even 'better'! Last friday, I received a call from the shop, telling me the card is back. I was so glad and was planning to rush there after my college. 30mins later, they gave me a call again. I got a shock! They told me they tested the card themselves and it's still faulty! So they have to go thru the whole RMA process again!!! This is probably the silliest thing I've ever heard! I just can't imagine they ignore my faulty card and send back to me again! Sorry, I won't buy Powercolor anymore. I'm still stuck with my GF2U. In terms of speed, it's not too bad, I still can play many games, despite running at lower resolution. But it's display quality on the monitor is bad! It's blur, and I can see weird lines going across the screen! I don't see that on any other graphics card! I can't wait for my replacement card!!!
No, I'm not getting back R9500... I just got another call today. He gave me 2 choices. Either I wait for the R9500, or get the R9800SE as a replacement. I will choose the latter option for obvious reasons. 1. I'm not going to wait any longer! 2. Both R9800SE and R9500 perform equally at unmodded state. 3. I don't think I will get back my moddable R9500.
R9500 is based on R9700. And R9800SE is based on R9800. R9800 has some minor improvement over R9700. So if the R9800SE mod is successful, it will be faster than the modded R9500.
