One of the downsides of buying Blu-ray now is I can only watch it in the living room, which is sometimes not a convenient thing. Sometimes I just want to watch privately at the PC with a pair of headphones, especially late at night when the subwoofer is off limits for obvious reasons. So what's a good Blu-ray drive to get? Which comes with good OEM software? And is it a good idea to get an external one instead of an internal?
Personally, I would go with an external Blu-ray drive. Then you can use it with any computer / notebook you have. Heck, you can bring it on holidays and hook it up to a computer at your destination. You only want to read Blu-ray discs, right? I think LG has a slim external Blu-ray drive.
