In case you never heard of Window FLP before http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Fundamentals_for_Legacy_PCs http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/sa/benefits/fundamentals.mspx Ok it supposed to use less memory BUT is it explorer and svhost is running high? i compared with my fren's processes for other application like pidgin.. pidgin on window FLP is much higher any1 tried before?
Hmm.. Not me. If I'm not mistaken, it's not an operating system for the masses but rather a cheaper option for large corporations that do not want to spend money upgrading both hardware and software just to streamline operations on Windows XP. BTW, as for memory usage, I believe they are talking about the Windows kernel, not third-party applications like Firefox, etc. Their memory usage should not differ much, whether it's on Windows FLP or regular Windows XP.
somehow i feel that internet connection is slower, 4 tabbed firefox already takes 100k memory, back to old xp now
