Well, I took part in it, but obviously I didn't win because I wasn't fast enough, and I didn't have much luck either. But these are some of the pictures I took before my turn.
Please don't compare with Genting. Thank you. Genting is probably only 10-20km/h, while the 80cc kart here can hit 80km/h or faster. You wanna race with me? Come to proper racing circuits like Shah Alam, USJ, or even Sepang, and we will go on the 100cc kart.
There's no age limit for karting. Racers like Michael Schumacher started karting below 10. Race queens? If there's any, I would have probably scared them away...
I see.... So..........., does this means we can just jump onto any high cc kart anytime? Woohoo! I think I must try this when I cum back to KL.
halo, helmet is for ur head safety! even the slow cart in genting oso need to wear helmet, and i dun belif the $g dun need it, unless u hav a prove for us
I have to agree! btw, the Go-Karts got seatbelts or not? Should we orgynize an ARP-ZTH-TBS-MTM Go-Karting day?
CS5<------ He talks as if he is an F1 champion. Please Chai... Don't give in to his antagonistic attempt at making you mad. PS Nice Pics! Looks like lots of fun!
Yeah, very easily at the straights. 80km/h is just rough estimation though...could be 60 or 70, hard to guess. DYKT karting is very physical demanding? Getting muscle ache is very common, and even cut my fingers because the steering wheel rubber was torn. I often get blisters and bruises too! Now my back hurts... Because the seat was too big for me (obviously!). I need padding for my back to prevent blisters, but when I was racing yesterday, we have to switch driver as quickly as possible, and during my turn, my friend tried to put the padding for me, but it was out of place, so my left side wasn't padded, and I couldn't adjust it on the track, so I got bruises on my back after the race. Need to try the more powerful 100cc kart!
Wow.....really heaps of fun...and some pain too. Does it mean bigger size ppl fits better into those seats?
Yeah...since they are trying to use a 'universal' seat. But that's not possible because of the seats are made of hard plastic!
