what is the main diffrent between this two chipset?

other than the SLI support for the 590 SLI..

    thanks

Let me first correct u .Both 590 & 570 support SLI. Nforce 570 is the predecessor of the 590 & is inferior on the SLI capabilities.

570 supports 16x SLI in which the total SLI bandwidth is 16x.That means u'll either have to place two PCI-E cards which will share the total bandwidth of 16x by diving x8 each or u can plug a single card which will use the total 16x bandwidth.

But if u r using, the better one(590), u'll get a PCI-E bandwidth of 32x instead of 16x.So, u can plug 2 cards in SLI which will share the total 32x bandwidth by dividing 16x each .So u'll get double the bandwidth in 590 than 570.I think this will help u understand the difference.

Actually, the fastest SLI speed for any card is 16x. Not that it really matters TBH.

Two cards running at PCIe 8x is only a little slower than two cards running at PCIe 16x.

    ya, that's true.

This is not true. It's not ONE 32x PCIe splitting into TWO 16x PCIe, it has always been 2 different separate links. 1 16x PCIe goes to MCP, and another 16x PCIe goes to SPP. That's why there's no need for SLI selector jumpers or switch for 590.

What are you trying to tell? You are wrong, and I'm right? Is there any statement in there saying it's 32x PCIe (which doesn't exist), splitting into to 16x PCIe?

Please get your facts right before you start correcting others.

Err... I'm not correcting u.U r already correct.I'm just saying that in 590 u can have the total bandwidth of 32x while u get 16x in 570.And another thing, we can insert an 16x card in a 16x slot & can get a 16x bandwidth or we can insert two cards in SLI to get x8,x8 totalling 16x in the 570.But in 590,if we insert two cards in SLI, they will operate at 16x each unlike the x8,x8 in 570.

I've not said that, if we insert a single card in a 590, we'll have 32x speed coz I know that it's not possible.

    abit KN9 ultra - RM410
    athlon X2 3800 - RM500
    512mb x 2 DDR2 667 - RM380
    XFX 7600gt - RM650
    250gb hd - RM300
    dvd writer - RM120

    casing - RM200
    power supply - RM400

total RM2990 which is about right for my budget

btw, price over here is slightly higher than west msia :silenced:

    E6300 - RM???
