I see... so it's about RM 3200 here in malaysia... Anyway... about the RAM. The price for a 1GB DDRII RAM is RM 115 @ lowyat during the 2nd week of June. Today i went there and it's about RM150 each for the same thing... It's a good thing that order it at RM 105 each last week for a Cosiar Value RAM... haha
They sure will be slow processors in 3 years, but, there is advantage in getting a E6xxx over a E4xxx, just to cite some: FSB of E6xxx is 1066, instead of E4xxx's 800; 4MB of cache on E6xxx, instead of E4xxx's 2MB; E6xxx has Virtualization Technology, while E4xxx's don't; Those do make a difference in the end. and a big one.
-> http://www.intel.com/technology/platform-technology/virtualization/index.htm A nice feature ... if you're in need of. But I dun think so. ^^
Yeah I agree, not going to make much difference for him. but just citing the advantages of E6xxx.. of course, E4xxx is also a very good processor.
E4xxx is a great processor. The best thing is, 2MB cache and VT. Well, the FSB is only 800MHz, but not too much of a performance hit anyway.
