    PS3 are really powerful. That's why the PS3 team in Folding@home are one of the top in such a short time :shock:

    Just imagine the amount of points you could accumulate when Folding.
     
  7. That is sweet i think over 100k points a day is easily possible with that thing.

    All the latest consoles today is powered by IBM. XBox 360 = PowerPC-based multicore Xenon chip, PS3 = IBM Cell-based chip, Wii = Low power PowerPC-based Broadway chip. lol

    and just imagine if IBM got its hand on AMD... they would do x86 and graphics as well.

    Hmm.. I thought IBM quit making PowerPC chips? I think they quit making x86 chips even earlier... when they dropped the Cyrix MII processor. :think:
