I got a Zalman CPU cooler today instead of Ultima 90 due to out of stock... Will update pictures of the little devil later... hehe
Here are the pictures. Sorry for the delay... forgot to transfer to my comp before my dad take down to Singapore. Here it is anyway...
performs very sweet.... according to RightMark, idle mode is about 29 C while load mode will be somewhere within 40-45C.
well the temp drastically reduce now.. mission accompolish! btw wat the name of the zalman cooler and how much.. i fancy it too
great stuff, ur system is cooler now btw what model is that.. is it the zalman 9500 something? how much u got it for ?
That's why I buy heatsinks from Ebay... just needs a little blast from the can and it's almost good as new for half the price.
well... it's a investment anyway.... to let my PC live longer... And ya... it's a Zalman CNPS-9500A not 9700....
I still think the Scythe Katana2 and Coolermaster Hyper212 deliver similar performance at almost half the cost
actually you know, i did consider the Cooler Master Hyper 212 too... but then the fan can only go up to 2000RPM, which is one of the factors that make me decide on which to buy.
I think the idea of the lower RPM is because of the option to use 2 fans. I moves more air in this configuration and because of the lower RPM even with 2 fans runs very quiet
true...true... i was about to buy Thermal Right Ultima 90 that day with another 12cm fan which cost 60 bucks. Too bad that they don't have any stock left. and erm... the zalman came with a fan speed controller. So i can tune down during idle which makes it more quiet and tune to the maximum during load. I have a fan blowing towards me beside my comp too so it doesn't really make a difference in sound when it's on maximum.
