With all the talk going around about Intel's upcoming Bloomfield desktop processor, many enthusiasts are anxious to know more about the next-generation Intel processors which are slated to be launched in Q4 of 2008. It appears that motherboard companies like Foxconn have already started preparing for the launch. We were able to obtain some details of the upcoming Foxconn X58 Renaissance motherboard. Check it out! Link : Foxconn X58 Renaissance Motherboard Overview
hmmmm bro this mbo is nice but wonth bloomfield have 8 cores? i cant w8 to see gigabyte and asus x58 mbo wtf take a close look on foxconn mbo they use cheap parts ????
Bloomfield will ship with 4 cores. Whether Intel will ship 8-core versions remain to be seen. Cheap parts?
Pretty Good for Foxconn One thing for sure its NOT 4 16x bandwidth, & your looking at several grand or double total system, yet when its out, some mains will be ?32K in vantage(IF THATS PLAUSIABLE #), with BIG Memory slots, it could be Home Workstation for early buyer. They are a good thing but hard to tell if they are used on this. I have a 50 dollar ASrock 478 mobo in my hand and the caps look exactly the same with the blue markings. Standard electrolytic caps are prone to leakage and are inefficient at high frequencies that's why they are usually paired with a ceramic or polystyrene decoupling cap around 0.1uF. On this board hard to tell without a parts list
Unfortunately, we do not have an actual board to confirm the specs. Just the limited info that we were able to obtain.
IMHO, this is not going to be a budget board. So it is very, very unlikely that Foxconn will not use solid capacitors. It's a certainty that they will use solid caps at least in this motherboard.
