Yea wolfdales aren't exactly famous for having good thermal sensors. Interesting seems like a common problem it's everywhere... Well what matters is it's stable and far away from the max temp (72c?). Might have to edit my sig, my hyper 212 got lost in delivery so I got a refund :( :wall: .
Cooler recommendations for E8400 overclocking which don't use push-pins please (as many as possible).

3dmark06 cpu score at stock speed is 2828marks.

That's load temp taken with realtemp cooled by a zalman 9700 right?

zalman 9500 and i dont use realtemp
everest, coretemp -10°C and bios shows same temps
all the time i get difference on cpu sensor is normal but cores sensors are 10°C higher

    CPU-Z Validator 2.1
well a 50% higher clock is preaty good for default voltage setup
but how the hell cpu adjust it self voltage ???

Did you run any stress test?

    prime and occt
this pic is two days old and from beguining of testing
    [IMG]
all have been rund ok and that temps in occt are not corect

I'm not jumping to conclusion, I was just referring to the screenshot  The processor was not in full load in that screenshot. I'm sure Chai was asking were there any stress test running when you took the screenshot (since the temperature is quite high). Aren't you the one who jumped to conclusions?

Show us your prime95 screenshot then, just in case anyone decides to "jump counclusions". LOL

hmmmm temps are not that high it can stand to 100°C
temps inside room is 28°C-30°C well it is summer LOL and i dont have AC
will run prime again just for you

why dose cpu need to show stress if i just opend cpu-z and everest
there is nothing stressing it in those two programs

p.s. what do you think that vista can boot if system is not stabil ? it just cant
windows xp is runing much beter on high clocks but vista dont need any reason to crush LOL

Depends on how long you intend of keeping it ...
I'm still looking for 775 cpu coolers that doesn't use push-pins. A list of all that you know please.

i dont have anything against air cooling but bro if i am on your place i would save some cash and take water cooling

You are so wrong in this regard. My system wasn't completely stable, but I didn't know until I stress test with Prime95 again. And I'm running Vista. It's the same for all OS. When the processor is running idle, you wouldn't know if it's stable or not.

    i know that
well i was just saying that i have tested it
and so what if i dident put pics of prime95 ?
i dont wanna run it all day will do that tonight and then will post it omg why is that hard to trust someone ?
anyway no mather will do that tonight when room temps go down

Reason is simple. The Idle temp is at 60+C, and you are using air cooling. From my experience, at load, it will reach 80+C easily, and at such a high overclock and voltage increase, it's quite unlikely to be stable.

It's ok if you are just doing a suicide screenshot, but it's pointless if you are running 24/7 at that setting (providing if it's not stable of course)

Our room temperature is averaging at 28-33C, but I usually try to keep it below 60C at load despite that.

ok and i know all of that
and big problem is that occt told that temps are high
but it have rund 1h of tests without any problems
prime was around 2 hours of working and everything was ok
yes temps was highbut i was just testing how high can it go
and i find it if i get 511fsb with air it will run but not that long
but puting water cooling it should work a little bit longer LOL
if cpu dies on tests well you could say that it have died on rages battlefield LOL

Xigmatek with crossbow kit? =/...those are not push pin..So is thermalright ultra 120 XD (i think)

I need it working at its best "out of the box". No seperate kits (Xigatek) and no lapping (TRUE).

You shouldn't be lapping TRUE. It's designed to have convex surface.
