    Hey Guys
I bought a computer which has an audio mode (without the use of an operating system (Windows))on it and it works the sound however is coming out from the jack of the CD-ROM but nothing is coming out from the sound card. All wirings and connections are fitted correctly.

    Manufacturer: Samsung Electronics
    Model: MagicStation MF10

I guess you r playing audio CD instead of mp3 and stuff like that. So yeah Lacus is right, there is additional audio cable internally you need to connect from the cdrom to the soundcard.

Don't worry about the order. Even if you get it wrong, it just means the left channel goes to the right speaker and vice versa. Usually, you can correct that in the driver settings.

So no worries about the order. But how can i play an Audio CD using an CD-ROM and a PC w/ an Audio Mode and without the use of Windows?

Using the output jack on the CDROM drive is the only way I guess.

Yeah, I think you have to use the audio output jack on the CD-ROM drive.

Err. No. There's usually an audio output jack right on the front cover, under the loading tray.
