Thank you!! I'm preparing something really unique and possibly icky (for some) for you to see. Will post them up soon!
Omurice! Haha. Shift gears back to the far east (this is probably my first cooked Asian dish - Soba/Udon doesn't count ). Omurice! Basically kinda like (kinda sorta similar) Malaysia's Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) Pattaya (though I don't know who made what first). Oishi!!!
Hmmm, Looks good! Did you make it yourself? I'm still working on getting around to making a home made ramly burger.
How come the pizzas I buy never turn out that good? Always burned here and there. It has to do something with my cheapo oven I say.
What kind of oven do you have? (toaster oven's are not the best for a lot of things pizza being one of them). A few steps to baking a better frozen pizza, 1, PREHEAT your oven all the way to 350F before even trying to start your pizza. Can start at 400F if your pizza is plain or just pepperoni but if you have a lot of toppings it's better to stick with 350F. 2, A dark pizza pan is better. (gets the crust baked faster). 3, Most ovens have hot spots, find yours and use it to your advantage. I check my pizza's about 7-10 minutes into the bake and rotate the pan 180 degrees to insure an evenly baked pizza. Try not to open the oven door a lot during the first 5-10 minutes. This just lets all the heat out of the oven and causes it to cycle on and off more often and leads to un-even baking. 4, Pizza is done when the cheese puffs up and starts boiling and browning from the edges inward. This is what I call the minutes of truth. You have a 'window' of about 1-2 minutes, This is when you must pay 100% attention to your pie when you see it browning it's done,,, One more minute,,,, it is toast! A lot of frozen pizzas can be baked directly on the oven rack, you get a nice crispy crust this way. Be sure you have a nice spatula or peel around to get it of the rack when done if you would like to try this method. Preheating the oven is most important in this case. Hope this helps! Good luck and take pictures!
