DYKT : My laptop screen is 12.1" wide DYKT : my desktop screen is 18" non-wide DYKT : school computers are mostly 19" (i think), non-wide. DYKT : That 27" is reserved for a student with disability. DYKT : The funny thing is it is only reserved for one student named Eric. Anyone can use it when Eric is not using it...
DYKT : they set at low resolution of like lower resolution ish. DYKT : it was meant to use with a magnifying software Everything look so big. DYKT : i changed the resolution to high resolution Poor eric.
DYKT : I think so. I only know most of the computers here are either Dell Optiplex (in all computing area) or Mac (in some labs or media studies) DYKT : This are engineering PCs. Slow like shit when it comes to OpenGL rendering..... Onboard graphics... Had to use my laptop to present OpenGL rendering... DYKT : There was one which was overheating (beginning of the year), due to the dust accumulated.....
DYKT: I am surprised at the apparent stupidity that exists among the so called "tech" press about Chrome OS. DYKT: It is developed as a "Secondary device" (quoted directly from the Google people in the Webcast I'm watching). DYKT: It is not an OS replacement. It's a freaking browser ONLY platform. Only Apps that work are webapps in the browser (aka same thing that works in any other browser). You can't install anything else... DYKT: Best question of the webcast asked from a press member "How do I install another browser in Chrome OS". It's a freaking OS that runs CHROME! It doesn't install shit else. Everything you need/can do is through their browser (that phone's home your usage/browsing/search data I might add). Even the Google person was somewhat baffled at the question.
LOL! DYKT: My car is a victim of that? Because I always park at big parking lots... Obviously not big enough for idiots swinging their doors...
