And also the Date of Birth of a person. Either it's a six-digit one, or a variation on it. :faint:

    ROTFL!!! :haha: :haha:

As funny as that is, I wonder if anyone actually tried using that as a password?

Think of it, it may be the simplest to use, and yet possibly the hardest password to figure out! :haha:

    ROFL :haha:

I only use simple passwords when I'm forced to register an account on other forums/websites. For email accounts that I use regularly, I don't do that

I have to admit that they are easy to remember.

I once created very complicated passwords, as advised by folks - a complex combination of characters and numbers but man... the worst happened - I totally forgot it within the week!! :wall: :wall:

So we really have to balance between easy-to-remember passwords and something that is secure enough to deter most hackers. Otherwise, we will spend our time asking the e-mail or forum scripts to e-mail us our forgotten passwords! :haha: :haha:

Speaking of passwords, do you guys have a system for your passwords? Do you like use a single password for everything, or different passwords according to security level / type of application, etc?

I think 2-3 sets of password should be more than sufficient. But in my office, I'm forced to change password every 3 months, and some of the systems do not allow similar password, dictionary words! It's a real headache trying to remember them. It's no wonder people always forget their password!
