    Hello,:wall:
I just mounted P5G41T-M LE mobo on the win7 32-Bit ultimate.
This happens: when you start upload "Asus Expess Gate" and lasts about 15 sec, then the Bios screen and remains for about 30 sec.
I noticed that if I look at the post boot after reading the memory stops for sopraelencato before reading the discs.
I mounted a HDD Maxtor 120 GB DVD-RW + master on the same IDE.
    A S-ATA 500 GB SATA1 Sawn on where you installed the S.O.
I set the bios: ATA/IDE Configuration in Enhanced.
Enhanced Mode Support On in S-ATA + P-ATA
IDE Detect Time Out to 30 Sec, otherwise you won't see P-ATA
    You know help me?
    Thank you
P.S. the bios is updated to 701

I'm not sure what is your question. Is there a boot-up problem? Or do you want help in reducing the boot time?

    Thanks for the reply,
I just want to reduce the time of viewing the bios screen (30 sec.)

Did you change the quick boot setting?

Well, first of all, disable the ASUS Express Gate feature. You don't need to load it to boot into Windows 7.

You should also enable the Quick Boot option, as zy suggested.

BTW, if you can get screenshots of your BIOS settings, that would be helpful.

I see only in the initial post that after reading the memory stops for about 30 seconds, then reads the discs.

Enhanced Mode Support On in S-ATA + P-ATA
IDE Detect Time Out to 30 Sec, otherwise you won't see P-ATA
If you want I can send the doc of motherboard.

You cannot actually take screenshots of the BIOS settings. You will need a camera to take photos of the screens and then post them up here.

    Okay, try these steps.

    1. In the Main screen, go to each and every IDE and SATA port and press Enter.

    2. Then manually detect the IDE/SATA drive's configuration. You should be able to do so by changing Type from Auto to Manual. This will speed up the boot process by removing the need for the motherboard to keep checking the drives' configuration data everytime you boot up.

    3. For IDE/SATA ports that do not have any attached drives, disable the auto-detection by setting Type to Disabled. Otherwise, your motherboard will waste some time checking to see if any drives are attached.

    4. Change AddOn ROM Display Mode to Keep Current. See Tech ARP - Add-On ROM Display Mode
