IMHO, use your current bulbs. They should serve you well enough. Then replace them with whatever bulbs you prefer when they die.

They are very unlikely to die... :haha: Unless you drive a lot at night. By the time it dies, you probably wouldn't bother buying expensive bulbs on old car. :haha:

    1. Ring Automotive Xenon Ultima H4

    3. Philips Blue Vision Ultra H4

All 3 at the same pricing except the Blue vision ultra comes with W5W bulbs foc.

    So what did you buy?

AFAIK, the brighter they are, the shorter they last. Caveat emptor! :)

PS. Did you try to adjust the angle of your headlights first?

in front of the bulb there is this weird cover thing,it's wide enough. Not long enough. Still considering which one to go for (+ i heard the 3rd choice is actually white bulb, not sure legal or not but it has slightly poor visibility at night)

It will have poorer visibility in fog, not at night. I have personally not heard of 1. If it is a new car, I wouldn't bother adjusting the headlight.

Personally I have good experience with Philips bulbs. I started using Vision Plus (+60%), then when they burnt out after about 4 years, I replaced it with Xtreme Power (+90%), and they are still working fine.

I think I will upgrade to a better Philips bulb next time. My current bulb is also Philips but only offers 20% more power, which is nice but not good enough.. :wall:

I'm not sure how they calculate the percentage, and I don't really get double the power definitely. But there's a slight improvement.

Should be in lumens, I suppose?

I need all the firepower I can get to punch through the haze in my old headlights... :(

You should get the lens polished first.

Your offer still on?? Hint hint! LOL! :haha:

PS. The chemical polish I use cuts down on the haze by about 10-20% but that's about it.
