    Hi guys:
I have a Asus P5G41T-M LX motherboard. In JumperFree Configuration menu of BIOS Setup, when I set [AI Overclocking] item to [Overclock Profile], appears [Overclock Options] item, whose configuration options are: [Overclock 5%] [Overclock 10%], [overclock 15%] [overclock 20%], [Test Mode].
What is [Test Mode]? When should I use it?
    Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a feature that automatically tests the various overclocking profiles to see which your system is capable of supporting. If you set it, then it should boot up your system at 20%, and see if it works. If not, it will restart and try 15% and so on.

However, I'm not 100% certain because I never tried it before. If you try it, please let us know if this is correct. Thanks!

    Thanks Adrian:
Googling, I found that according to User Manual for an Asus P5KPL-AM, "[Test Mode] - loads overclocking (overclocking 5%) with spread spectrum". Also, I tried this option and effectively the FSB reaches 210MHz (overclocking 5%).
Unfortunately, no one from the Asus support team answered my Technical Inquiry.
This forum is much more effective.
    Greetings.

Oh, so it's just that? So it basically increases your overclock by 5% with spread spectrum.

Thanks for the confirmation! +rep! :thumb:
