My router died today. Its last words before biting the dust were, paraphrased, "firmware update complete. Please reset manually." Even a good ol' factory reset couldn't revive the poor thing. So... new replacement router!!
Given up on all my previous mouse and I think I've finally found the right mouse for me. The Razer Ouroboros was too bulky and the Razer Synapse software is seriously flawed on the Mac platform which makes me think twice from getting the Razer Orochi 2015. The Logitech MX Master was great but it's Bluetooth connection was unstable and the proprietary USB wireless dongle didn't work for me for some reason so again, not quite the mouse for me. Also, the build quality was somewhat not a solid as I'd like it. The G602 so far has given me a pretty good impression. The software is much better than Synapse and the feel of the mouse is great.
For some reason, I only have problems with BT mouse. I use a BT keyboard that connects flawlessly with the Mac and my BT headphones so far haven't given me any problems too. But mouse... apart from the Orochi 2013 version which was ok till OS X Maverick changed BT stack became incompatible with Synapse.
I never liked using BT peripherals on laptops because I always switch off BT to maximize battery runtimes. I like the Logitech mice with those tiny USB receivers which you can leave plugged in on a semi-permanent basis -- even though most of the time I just stick to the touchpad.
That's true. Only BT mouse seems to have problem. But then again, we don't usually use any other BT devices, so I can't comment on that.
