Do you swim?

neither do i

 

I only can only float with a life jacket.

 

i cant even swim for crying out loud

 

I can swim and float... No prob...

 

I can.. But very slow..

 

Same as me...but who cares? It's not like you have to swim in a competition right? It's meant to be a survival skill, so if you ever end up in deep water at least you can stay alive. In that kind of situation it doesn't matter how fast you can swim anyway

 

I learnt to swim just 2 years ago... I received a few hints from my housemates, but most of it was my own trial and error..

Now, I love swimming... havn't went swimming for a long time already... Wish I had access to a swimming pool right now..

when i started to learn to swim 2 years ago, a sister of my friend who tought me. there was once a coach was teaching a boy came to me and told me:"Gal, you should have imagined yourself as a fish that enjoying in the water."

by the way, why do u force yourself to swim since u actually are made to walk?

 

swimming is a leisure activity, for recreation.

i used to be a good swimmer. now i just manage, to swim.
never swimmed for 2months. besides i find swimming to be rather enjoyable.

something nice about having plenty of water around you.

 

I learned how to swim on my own. I remember about 11 years ago, I was at this Hotel pool, and I was just wading. I wondered how people can swim, so I decided to try it. At first I observed how other people swam. My first 3 tries, I almost drowned! I was after all, at the adult pool. But somehow, I managed to make it back to the side of the pool. So on my fourth time, I managed to swim, I was so excited that I started to sink. After that, I managed to keep my head up and was doing the strokes perfectly.

My parents however, cant swim... My dad once went snorkelling and I taught him how to swim. He seemed ok until he once lost his flow and panicked. When u panic, you sink, so I had to tow him back to shore.

In lengkayan however, he gave it a go again and he did quite well..

 

i went to swimming class when i was in standart 5 i think...cant really rememer...but it was during primary school...with my brothers..

 

I can swim, but i dont swim properly. I have this weird thing of not ever putting my head underwater.
