I was reading the guide to optimizing your BIOS and read up on turning on AGP mode with it but it never says how to? Could anyone please give me much appreciated directions? Thanks!

Okay i found out how to change the mode from PCI to AGP in my BIOS settings but now when i try to change it on my video card setting from PCI to AGPx8 after i click apply it just goes back down to PCI. I have a Geforce5200 in case you need to know that. How do I now activate AGP mode?

    Hello Paullybird45,

First, tell us what kind of system you have - what are its specifications?

Incidentally, you can change the card from PCI to AGP and vice versa. They are two totally different systems.

By system do you mean PC? If that is what you mean yes I have a PC. I'm not very good with computers. >_<
    AMD 64 3200+
    GeForce FX 5200 128MB
    512MB PC3200 RAM
American Megatrends motherboard with the latest drivers.
Is there any other information you might need?

AMI (American Megatrends Inc.) is just the BIOS-manufacturer and can be found on many, many different mobos in countless variations.
We'd need to know the mainboard manufacturer + type/model.
You should have some booklet of it or at least it should be printed on the mainboard itself.

Okay I used CPU-Z but which Specs should I copy?
My motherboard is manufactured by ASUStek Computer INC., Model Diablo and the chipset is an NFORCE3 150. Is there any other info you might need?

So it has to be either a K8N or K8N-E Deluxe.
Will have a look at their BIOS right away. ^^

So this one (pic) is switching back to PCI each time you change it to AGP?

No my BIOS settings stays at AGP but when i go to my NVIDIA drivers (forceware i think it is) and slide the bar from PCI to AGP after I click apply its back at PCI

Ic, you should have mention that (it's a prob in Forceware) earlier. ^^
    Well, next time then. ;)

Btw .. moved to technical support, 'cause it's no BIOS issue then.

    So ..

    - most recent Forceware installed?
    - most recent nForce-drivers installed?

I do not have the most recent forceware drivers but that is because if I download the latest version the AGP config tab in the Forceware window is not there.
