Suggestions for Great Picnic Spots!

    (near a source of water e.g. river stream, waterfall)

    Planning to have a picnic this merdeka eve or on merdeka itself. Not sure where to go. Preferably 60 ro 90mins drive from PJ.


    Any ideas? :think:

    putrajaya. firework. very nice.
    u can be there before 11. stay all the way till the next morning for the celebration event.
    while waiting, u can play "human chess" at the garden. very fun game..hehehehe :thumb:

    Q: has anyone been to Sungai Gabai Waterfalls or Sungai Congkak Recreational Forest or Templar's Park?

    Templar's park is nice but its really in the middle of the forest (last time I remember it.)

    Sungei Conggak is in Hulu Langat,quite serene and clean ,the stream is cold and clear with lots of visitors on weekends.

    There's also a very clear and cold mountain stream there.not that many visitors though ,maybe because of distance from KL.

    Whether Sg Conggak,Templers Park or Janda Baik,be careful of your personal safety,go in a big group.

    There's actually a hotspring in a Felda scheme in Trolak,(near Tanjung Malim)this place is owned and operated by Felda and is well maintained with proper facilities.You have to pay entrance fee to enter.
