ED#29 : Seagate Speaks About Maxtor!

    By the end of 2006, Maxtor becomes part of Seagate. What does this mean to us? More choices? Fewer choices? Higher or lower prices?

    What about current Maxtor customers or Maxtor employees? How are they affected? Let's find out!

    If I'm not mistaken, Quantum still exist as an entity providing data backup solutions but anyway, this acquisition doesn't go well with me. SIGH

    Hmmm I checked out www.quantum.com. So yup, you are right :) Quantum's still around providing backup solutions.

    Micropolis and the Atlas drive line...... who was it that they sold out the drive division to? Did they sell that to Quantum? I can't remember.
