On the contrary. I know a LOT of well off (i.e drives ferraris but donates an undisclosed amount of money to mosques and prays there without fail every morning and evening) people who are very religous. Its wrong to prejudge and label in that manner. I also know a lot people who have difficult lives who are no where near "religous." I doubt abiding by true islamic teachings classifies as "extrimism." Religon is free from politics and especially class or stature. Mix one with the other and you get heaps of trouble (predominant problem with politics + religon.) But we are off topic.
