    YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!!

    YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!!



    An Indian like me has discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer which can be named as "CON".

    This is something pretty cool...and unbelievable. .. At Microsoft the whole Team, including Bill Gates, couldn't answer why this happened!

    So, inform about this to all your friends. TRY IT NOW , IT WILL NOT CREATE " CON " FOLDER

    Try To rename the New Folder as CON Or con It will not Accept .Tell me if u've tried that.

    I just wonder what he was trying to do, when he tried to create a folder called CON... :wicked: :haha: :haha:

    try LPT1 COM1 etc :wicked:

    Sorry,I've just got an forwarded e-mail which I've written here.I didn't know all these b4 that we can't make a folder with all thses names.Thanks Zy 4 this info.

    Hey, i tried, "con" really can't be accepted.
    BTW, "LPT1" and "COM1" are the i/o ports, but what does "con" means?

    Thanks Chai, I really didn't know that DOS commands can't be used as folder names.

    they arent reallty dos command .. something to do with i/o communications :think:

    What's so funny about the eagle?

    does that mean "usb", "ps/2", etc can't be used as folder names too???!?!?!

    i dont recall you being able to access usb through dos :p

    & you can have ps/2 folder coz "/" is not allowed :p

    I am not sure about this but i think you can create a folder that starts with a '. ' as well
