WMCE remote control

Does any one know of a guide to the WMCE remote control v2 as I have one and am unable to program it to turn the tv on and off.
I was able to do this with the WMCE keyboard but pressing corresponding buttons on the remote doesnt seem to work

 

I take it no one knows
