AMD 4800 Launch details revealed

    Tom's Hardware revealed the launch details for AMD's newer generation 4800 series here. Looks like ATI is going to be aggressive and the prices seem promising. I'm excited to see how this will perform. :)

    As long as they continued to drop prices of 9600GTs I'm quite happy... :)

    Heh yeah its hard to beat a 9600gt..

    Runs cool, supports opengl 2.1 and dx 10, it'l be at least two years before a 9600gt is at a 6800's level lol!

    the newer 4000 series might beat it xD Too bad i won't be changing my card until they release another 512 bit gpu :mad:

    speaking of the 9600GT, IMO they're the only mid-range card that's ever worth SLIing.

    I love to have the 9600GSO too - they are dirt cheap!

    Too bad, no monay to buy now. I have to wait end of the year and sell off my old parts! lol! :haha:

    Yeah, these are beasts in SLI! Even beats a 9800GX2 in some tests.
