Hey Guys I bought a computer which has an audio mode (without the use of an operating system (Windows))on it and it works the sound however is coming out from the jack of the CD-ROM but nothing is coming out from the sound card. All wirings and connections are fitted correctly. Manufacturer: Samsung Electronics Model: MagicStation MF10
I guess you r playing audio CD instead of mp3 and stuff like that. So yeah Lacus is right, there is additional audio cable internally you need to connect from the cdrom to the soundcard.
did you replace anything? i dont really know what audio mode it. like the rest of the forum members said, check your audio cable from CD-ROM to the sound card. usually it has 4 wires on it.
Yes i did connect the cable from the CD-ROM with the port "CD OUT" to the Sound Card "CD IN" Info Sound Card: Creative Audio PCI ES1371, ES1373 Sound Card Model From Hardware: CT4810 btw can you give me the colors of the cable wires in order (left to right) Thanks
Don't worry about the order. Even if you get it wrong, it just means the left channel goes to the right speaker and vice versa. Usually, you can correct that in the driver settings.
So no worries about the order. But how can i play an Audio CD using an CD-ROM and a PC w/ an Audio Mode and without the use of Windows?
