    Hi,

Would like to know if there are any rosewill or ducky users here in the forum. I would like to get your opinion for a mechanical keyboard.

Currently considering Rosewill RK9000 and Ducky Shine 3. Still deciding between Cherry MX Red switch and Brown switch. Need some experts opinion. Thanks

I'm using Ducky DK9008 with brown switch.

I have not seen a Rosewill before, but I guess most of them are pretty similar, if not the same.

Key switches has 2 main attributes, clicky noise and feedback. Which one do you want, or do you want both?

my intern place is using rosewill red switch. I'm not sure if brown switch is better because of the tactile feedback.
Definitely don't want to clicky noise. If not mistaken, rosewill have 3 years warranty compared to ducky 1 year warranty. Not sure if i really need to LED lights on the ducky.

i have read that earlier. it's a little hard not to be able to feel it before purchase actually, hahaha. So far the red switch I used is quite okay, but doesn't seem complete. I'm only afraid that brown switch will require more effort to press. I'm definitely not going for black switch.

rosewill or ducky both are good, one with backlit one is not but both are well built(from reading review), why didnt consider rosewill RK9100? this got backlit just as ducky shine 3

Personally, I wouldn't buy black key, because it defeats the purpose of getting mechanical keyboard. I don't like blue because it's too noisy. So brown is the best compromise for me.

Red is just a lighter version of black. Might be good for gaming, but I hardly game these days.

Not sure if the lights on worth that extra RM 100 (about 30 USD).

May consider to get brown switch then. Most likely rosewill. Tempted with ducky actually. =P

and also correction, the keyboard at my intern place is rosewill blue switch, noisy like hell.

Shine 3, Brown switch and probably White LED. Green LED looks like razer, don't like.

Now that you bring it up, do you find backlit keyboards useful or distracting?

Chai, RM 399 Ducky Shine 3. RM 299 Rosewill (no backlit)

Adrian, I don't know actually, still doubting whether to get it or not as I don't have a proper desktop space. I scared the keyboard will collect dust only.
