0.5m -- not really a macro lens, but gives a very decent 0.29x magnification. Add a couple of extension tubes and/or extender to that and it can do macro pretty well.

I still do, just some Dota 2 occasionally and as expected my GPU couldn't handle it at 4k so I just run it at 2560.
Still using the one in my sig. Bought with my first paycheck when I started working back in late 2008/early 2009... Since then, I've only doubled the RAM to 12GB and refreshed graphics card (and replaced hard drives).
Not easy at all. You have to make small adjustments to tilt, then adjust focus and eyeball it from the viewfinder or live view. Of course, the proper way is to magnify to 10x in live view to check but it becomes very tedious; or tether to a larger monitor and check from there.
