Hmm out of curiosity I went to check out Dell's latest monitor offerings and... they no longer sell them online? All the models, even the smallest 21" ultrasharp, does not have any buy link, just a button to "call dell".
Dell is almost completely migrating to channel sales, so either you drop by one of their dealers or you call them up. If you want to get corporate discount on your purchase, just let me know.
I can help you get the corporate discount, if you like. It's not much, but better than nothing, I guess.
Only if you are using can support dual-DVI or DisplayPort. If you are running on HDMI, then you are stuck at 1920x1080 AFAIK.
Curiously enough ASUS says that the Z97-C can do 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz on HDMI and 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz on DVI-D. I always thought DVI-D could support higher than that. Not a big fan of HDMI, but I guess it'll do.
It's not so much the HDMI support on the GPU side. It's the fact that HDMI 1.4 only supports 1920x1080. The monitor must support HDMI 2.0 to support higher resolutions. AFAIK, the U2515H only supports HDMI 1.4b.
Ah, thanks for the info. I'll hold off until I upgrade my video card then! No money to do both a gpu and monitor upgrade for the moment.
Naissss!! I have a 5.1 speaker set too but I have nowhere to install them... I think I will need to rearrange the office tables...
