That's pretty basic... what were you using before this?

My phone, for the last 8 years using Runtastic. But recently I have migrated to Strava.

It's perfect for my needs. I have no use for mapping functionality since I ride the same trails most of the time. Most MTBers don't even use these. Most would prefer watch, but I don't like watches, and they are expensive.

Got myself a 1TB SSD to replace the HDD that just died on my home PC. HDD these days seems quite unreliable. :( Then again, the HDD was one that I extracted from a cheap but high capacity external HDD storage. Perhaps it’s not rated to be running 24/7. Oh well. [IMG]

Yea, SSD is definitely a better choice if your data is important.

Bought a new Corsair RM650 PSU for my dad's PC. It is slightly bigger than the old TW650 V1.

Road pedal power meters have been around for quite a while, with the Garmin Vector series leading the charge. MTB power meters... on the other hand... well SRM just released the first one :wicked::wicked::whistle:

Not a crucial item for MTB, so it's not as popular. Usually the power meter is crank arm based.

Just like the Garmin Edge, hardly any MTB riders use them.

My ancient, but still working, Synology NAS was reporting disk 2 having bad sectors so I thought maybe time to replace the whole thing with a new 4-bay enclosure with a bunch of 6TB drives.

Hopped over to Thundermatch Mid Valley Megamall, nope they don't have Synology. Oh well, maybe I'll just save money and get a replacement drive. Nope, they don't have 3TB WD Reds. Oh well, I guess I'll just do a bit of upgrade and get a pair of 6TB WD Blues instead! The NAS is still working anyway...

Take out the bad drive... install the new drive... now waiting for the RAID1 to resync before installing the second new drive (and another long wait to resync )

How old is your 3TB Red? My newer WD drives don't last very long as well.

Don't remember when I bought them... they're that ancient, lol... but since the date on the thing is Jan 2013, can't be any earlier than that

So roughly 6 years old, not too bad I guess in a NAS environment.
