    ARP Forums Rules & Regulations

Hello everyone and welcome to the ARP Forums!

    Those Who Watch Like Hawks

Hahah.. Well, it is our job to regulate the forums and keep them an enjoyable place to hang out and discuss all sorts of topics. But we are not policemen or worse - the IRS!

We are also here to help you all out in any way we can. So, if you have a problem or need to approach someone regarding the forums, please feel free to PM (Private Message) any one of us!

Let me introduce you to the ARP Forums administrators and moderators :-

    - The moderating team will lock or delete any posts or threads that do not conform to the rules above!
    - Please give credits to the original author if you are copying from them and post it here! If you don't, you are merely plagiarising other's work.

    - ARP reserves the right to edit, reprint, distribute or delete any posting for any reason and without prior notification or explanation to the author.
    - ARP takes no responsibility for any content posted in the ARP Forums! All opinions and views expressed in the ARP Forums are solely those of their respective authors and are not those of ARP and Team ARP.

    - By posting in the ARP Forums, you agree to abide by the rules.

Please do take note of the rules but do not be alarmed by them. They are your guide to proper conduct in the ARP Forums. And they will ensure that everyone will have an enjoyable experience here in our forums.

If you see anyone violating the rules above or acting offensively in any way, please do let us know. You can contact any of the admins or moderators by PM (Private Message).

Users who repeatedly violate the rules will receive our personal attention and hours of maddeningly boring lectures on proper conduct in discussion forums! Recalcitrant violators will be shown the door and duly given the BIG BOOT!

Rules on the use of signatures

We are going to implement some restrictions for the image size of your signature.

    - Signatures may contain up to five lines (one line being that displayed on a browser opened to 800px width) of text (of small or normal size) and/or one image, valid combinations include; a single image of no more than 75px high, 600px wide and 20KB in size. Signatures containing an image this large may also include one line of small size text. Signatures containing an image of 30px high may include up to three lines of small size text or two lines of normal size text. Images of 15px height or less may allow up to three lines of normal size text or four lines of small size text.

    - Text sizes should be between 2 and 3. Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, warez, emoticons, etc.

    - Links are permitted in signatures. Such links may be made to non-ARP related materials, commercial ventures, etc. Links are included within the text and image limits above. Links to offensive sites may be subject to removal.

    - Users abusing these rules will be warned.

The reason for this rule is because many image signatures found in this forum are way too big, not only they slows down the forum loading time, they're also bad for dialup users. Image signature can be annoying too when reading the post contents. We will give you about 1 week's time to change your signature. After that, we may choose to PM you, or remove your image signature without your consent.
