my WD home edition 500gb had that adapter, but i have RMA-ed it. and WD sent me a replacement 500gb, the drives the same but the adapter is slightly different. exactly like the adapter in : http://images.hardwarezone.com/upload/files/2009/02/25c2684f6f.jpg the drives parks itself when not in use too i think.
