After riding for almost a year on this bike with used parts, it's time to change the chain and cassette due to chain skipping when pedaling hard. With this new cassette, I save about 60g over the old one. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it's not bad for a bike. I've almost replaced the front small and big chainring for wear & tear and "cosmetic" reasons. Front derailleur was changed to Deore XT for a complete Deore XT drivetrain.
Damn dude! Your getting real good! Don't think I'd try that on the 'Thunderbolt'... At least until I put on front brakes, and got to know the trail like the back of my hand...
Yea, I've been riding here for close to 3 years now, and I'm picking speed and getting more confident with my bike. It's quite hard to see how steep some sections are from the video, I'm surprised you can actually see that! That 'triple terrace' is pretty scary. Btw, what's thunderbolt?
