Some new video...
Who's that guy in front of you? Your friend?
Someone with bike problem. He was slowing down.

Recently my brake pads wear out, so instead of just changing brake pads, I got a cheap Shimano Deore M615 disc brakes. They are fantastic for its price, can't see how the Shimano high end range can better this other than the "better" price tag and marginal weight reduction.
Wow.. I didn't know they had disc brakes on bicycles...
They sure look wicked!
And they are using hydraulics too, for such relatively simple brakes.
Maybe because the usual brake cable lever system isn't strong enough to press the discs together?
Clamping power is one of the biggest reason. Another is the modulation. Hydraulics are much nicer to modulate, unlike cable which is almost on-off feel like.
We rented bikes to descend Mt. Haleakala in Hawaii. The rig I was on had a warped rotor which was very unsafe when I needed to stop. Do you experience the same problem with heat and warping rotors? I know it is common for people who tow heavy loads with automobiles or do a lot of braking... But what about bicycles? Same problem for personal use?
I don't have warping issue before, only with heat due to excessive braking downhill.
Usually rotor warps due to heavy impact from fall or rocks. Maybe poor rotor material warps due to heat.
Wish I could right now. But rain all weekend.
Oh yea, still riding every Sunday. No new footage. Waiting for cheap Yi camera for full hd footage...
Went out for a ride last night and got told by the police I can't ride at night without lights....
Bike light is really cheap now. You can get it from ebay.
I will show my lighting rig later.
This is what happened over the weekend. There was a steep drop, and the front chainring hit the roots, and viola, pedal strike.
And of course, it was really muddy after a heavy rain.
Ouch!!! I feel your pain!!!
One time I did that TWICE in one day... On the same leg in the same spot!
How do you wash your bike when it gets like that? Garden hose?
Gonna go see if my wallmart has this.

Lights on a P,K, Ripper... What is this world coming to...
OUCH! I think that's a common bike injury...
Hit the same place twice?
Yeah I use garden hose, too much mud to use a piece of cloth.
It is a common place to get injured, unless you use clip less pedals, which will lead you to other injuries...
