Hi all, I have an acer aspire 5738z laptop/notebook with a build in crystal eye webcam and Win 7 installed. I manage to get it going by going into 'All programs > crystaleye webcam > crystal eye'. I could see a clear image of myself on the screen centre but that's as far as I got. How can I proceed further to chat to relatives in an other country? Do I have to install any software or is it part of windows 7 system. Can I test the system regarding volume, etc.. before using to ensure they will see and hear clearly? Thanks for any help given. Kind regards. Joe
Yeah, you just need to install a video chat software like Skype on both computers. Windows 7 doesn't come with any video chat software built-in.
re-acer crystal eye webcam Thanks guys. So I have to find out what software they have installed on the other end. Cause if I understood you right it must be same software on both ends. tks joe
