I was wondering the exact same thing too... Short of a witness, fictionalizing a terrible tragedy doesn't really do much justice. Regardless the people responsible will get what's coming.
I think he/she wrote it in response to the fictional story written in Utusan about an assassin who kills a Chinese female Member of Parliament (read : Teresa Kok) to ensure stability in the country. If the government can allow someone to write what can be deemed as an incitement to murder, why can't someone else write a fictional account of what might have happened to someone named Aminah? I guess that must be what the author is trying to convey....
Yes I read the cerpen (short story) from the Utusan online. They must have been gone overboard. How could they write stories like that?
