alternative to IE & firefox?!?
Safe to say, half the forummers here are on Maxthon if not more.
maxthon is based on IE engine
i heard someone *cough* Dashken *cough* is using it. pretty sure they love the tabs... then there are other IE variants.. like MyIE.
i still prefer firefoz..
MyIE is now Maxthon ..
LMAO, never test Maxthon for so long, how do you know if Maxthon has not been improved to your liking?
just installed & surfing it now... the tab is smaller and there issit the small icon on the tab & bookmarks unlike firefox... or is there any setting to change it?
Err.. Isn't that a screenshot of Firefox???
I've been using Maxthon for ages.
ya, tat's firefox, i was asking whtr maxthon has the little icon on it or not cos i din see it maxthon.
Oh, of course, it supports those mini icons.
You can adjust the tab size in the options.
Icons? Hmm...Sometimes I see it, sometimes not...
It depends on whether the site implements those icons or not.
I don't know how to implement for the forums!
Using Firefox now still... if only Maxthon is more sensitive and err... more responsive, I would move to Maxthon again but too bad it's not.
Still remember last week when my manager was using my laptop to get to a site using my just-installed Maxthon, both of us waited for so darn long... have to kept pressing F5 to refresh coz it doesn't respond. But when I changed to Firefox, it went there instantly...
Huh? I thought all you need is the favicon.ico file wat..wats so hard?
when i try http://forums.rojakpot.com/favicon.ico
i get : You are not authorized to view this page
HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to an ACL set on the requested resource.
The icon is there actually...hmm i think i know why..chai u didnt set the permission issit? thats why i think it cannot read it
Edit: yup confirmed di, the permissions for that file is not set thats why the browser can read the icon
Edit: problem fixed
i notice maxthon also dun hv the the right click copy image location feature... hmmm....
That's true. You have a Save Picture As feature though.
If you need the picture's location, just right click and select Properties.
Yeah, that sucks.
