oi, that one i din even google la... was it 'barley white'? And the best thing is, I got it right... woohoo. Somemore you guys didn't say cannot google.
Don't flood the channels or else this is what happens. Needless to say, I did warn them. IRC etiquette tends to greatly frown on channel flooders.
LOL, I guess I'm guilty too but I did that when it was all too quiet in the chan. Guess I_luv_noodles just couldn't get enough of it BTW psyk, the commands can be truncated actually. For example, instead of typing /authserv auth <nick> <password>, it can also be done as /as <nick> <password>. Likewise for /chanserv which can be truncated as /cs
Well dont worry and rejoin. I installed the bot protection the morning I woke up. LMAO! Max was like "Noodles got pwnt. " LOL! But like I said, 8 lines in 3 seconds max. But even that is set to kick. Not ban anymore.
"[INFO] This channel needs a key. You must provide the correct key to join the channel. See "/help join" for details on joining a channel with a key."
Fixed. I have no idea exactly what happened but its fixed. Even I couldnt get on. But thanks Papercut for letting me know what it was. Mode +k was on. This made it invite/password only. I don't remember the bot having that setting though. Did anyone try to test the limits of it again? LOL! But at any rate, channel modes are out of its reach now (reorganized access levels.) For those with access, use the /chanserv #channel then the manual commands (in this case, it was Mode -k ). So please, sorry for the disruption and kindly rejoin.
Is the channel still around/active? I'm on wireless Internet for the next few weeks, but once I get the computers set up in the garage, I'll certainly hang out in the channel pretty much 24/7 if anyone else is in there. Not that we'd have need of it with a small number of people in the channel, but have you seen this? I tried it out and thought it was pretty cool. xkcd Blog Archive ROBOT9000 and #xkcd-signal: Attacking Noise in Chat
